How We Can Help

Auto Enrolment Services

Auto Enrolment is a Government scheme designed to encourage more people in the UK to save for their retirement. By law, you will need to offer an auto-enrolment pension scheme to your employees.

There are a lot of Auto Enrolment duties for employers, which are summarised below.

Continuous Assessment, Pension Communications and Pension Contribution uploads are included in our Payroll Service as standard.

We can also help you to choose a compliant pension scheme and deal with the Declarations of Compliance and Re-Enrolments which are required by The Pensions Regulator.

Auto Enrolment Duties as an employer

Pension Scheme

You must have a compliant workplace pension scheme in place for your employees. Even if your employees do not want to be enrolled in a pension scheme, a scheme must be available for them and, once automatically enrolled, they can choose to opt out.

Continuous Assessment - Check which staff need to be enrolled

You must assess your staff against eligibility criteria every pay run and work out if any of them need to be put into a pension scheme.

Pension Communications to Employees

You must write to each member of staff explaining how automatic enrolment applies to them. You must continue to communicate, in writing, with each staff member, every time there is a change to how automatic enrolment applies to them.

Pension Contributions

You must calculate employee and employer contributions as part of the payroll process. Employee contributions are deducted from wages and must be paid to the pension provider, along with your employer contributions, on time every month.

Declaration of Compliance

You have a legal duty to complete a Declaration of Compliance to tell The Pensions Regulator how duties have been met.

Re-enrolment & re-declaration (every 3 years)

Every three years you must put certain staff who have left your pension scheme back into it. This is called re-enrolment. Whether you have staff to put back into your scheme or not, you must complete a Re-Declaration of compliance to tell The Pensions Regulator how you have met your duties.

We can take all of these Auto Enrolment Duties off your hands.
